Conflict of Interest
The assertion that doctors are being negligent and that the Medical Board is failing to protect people from the "harmful doctors" is a self-serving assertion for a malpractice attorney. Please, provide an example, and then provide the evidence, and I would be glad to discuss it with you. The typical story that makes the news is a tragic report where someone committed suicide or had a negative outcome and the state medical board failed to act because they were protecting the other doctors. Unfortunately, we as physicians cannot keep people from chugging nine bottles of medicine along with heroin no matter how hard we try. We are not magicians, and we cannot stop people that are determined to kill themselves.
